A true story —

From Scrubbing Toilets to Living in the Jungles of Belize One Kilometre at a Time

A memoir about determination, long-haul trucking, heartbreak, isolation, bicycle travel, and building a life deep in the Belizean jungle.

The Story So Far

A human story told through years of movement, distance, and change

For years, I lived a life built on discipline, sacrifice, and isolation. I scrubbed toilets. Drove transport trucks back and forth across North America. Spent years alone on the road.

After heartbreak changed the direction of my life, I set out to test myself the hardest way I knew how.  Face a Canadian winter on a bike.

I STARTED MY BIKE RIDE ACROSS CANADA DURING A CANADIAN WINTER.

Two years and twenty-six thousand kilometres later, I found myself building a life in the jungles of Belize.

This memoir is about isolation, obsession, resilience, meaning, and the complicated cost of pursuing a dream.
